Unite India Spiritually – Vadyamelam Mahasangamam
This is not a cultural show. This is sonic yagam — sacred sound offered for Rashtra Kalyan.
South Meets North. Rhythm Meets Ritual. Bharat Beats as One.
For the first time in India, we’re doing what everyone talks about but nobody actually executes — a single national stage where South India’s powerful traditional vadyamelams and North India’s majestic folk–temple–processional ensembles play together, live, coordinated, and consecrated.
Not 10 teams. Not 100.
1,000+ traditional items. 3,000+ artists. One united spiritual sound.
The Idea
India has always had the music. What it never had was the integration.
South plays in South, North plays in North, artists struggle for real pay, and our temple arts remain local.
We’re breaking that cycle.
“Vadyamelam Mahasangamam” under Unite India Spiritually brings:
Chenda melam, Panchari, Panchavadyam, Thayambaka, Nadaswaram–Thavil sets from the South
Dhol–Tasha, Nagaras, Shanai, Punjabi Dhol ensembles, Shehnai–Tabla ceremonial sets, Garba–Dhun ensembles, Nagara–Jhanj temple beats from the North
All in one spiritually anchored, national-scale platform at the Prayuta Chandika Homa movement.
South’s precision + North’s power = Bharat’s spiritual heartbeat.
Why This Is Historic
First time such a large cross-regional traditional percussion confluence is being hosted under a spiritual-national umbrella — not just tourism, not just culture, but dharma & nation together.
1,000+ items curated — temple processions, entry melams, arati-mood percussion, yagna-support ensembles, nagaswara vandanam, mangala vadyam, shankh nad.
3,000+ artists — real practitioners, not just stage bands.
Played in sync with yagna timings, not casual stage slots.
All tied to the national vision: “Unite India Spiritually.”
You want proof of unity? You don’t get better proof than Kerala chenda and Banarasi shehnai playing for the same Devi homa.
Spiritual Logic Behind It
Every major yagna needs nada (sound) to elevate the energy field.
We are taking it to the next level:
Percussion for power – to hold the energy of the Maha Prayuta Chandika Homa
Wind instruments for grace – to invoke Devi, Ganesha, and Kshetrapalakas
Regional instruments for inclusion – to tell every state: you are part of this yagam
This isn’t entertainment. It’s sound as seva.
This program is also a Financial Dignity Initiative for Traditional Artists.
Artist-Centered, Not Exploitative
Let’s be blunt: India loves to use artists and not pay artists. We’re not doing that.
Performance Honorariums
Every registered artist gets paid. Period. No “exposure only” nonsense.
Digital Listing
All participating artists get listed in the National Spiritual Arts Directory under Unite India Spiritually for event organizers to hire.
Women Artists Priorit
Female percussionists / nadaswaram players / folk ensemble leaders get spotlight slots.
Patron Mapping
We connect exceptional artists/groups with temple trusts, spiritual patrons, and cultural institutions for future programs.
Corporate/CSR Onboarding
Brands and donors can directly sponsor artist clusters (ex: “Sponsor 50 temple drummers from Kerala” / “Sponsor 20 shehnai players from Kashi”).
